The East Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF) convened its 27th Executive Board Meeting virtually, bringing together representatives from Member Countries and Observer.

The meeting featured key discussions on the Forum’s recent activities, financial updates, and the progress of the Carbon Intensity Certification Mechanism, an initiative supported by the World Bank.

The Executive Board agreed to initiate a comprehensive review of EMGF’s long-term strategy, reflecting the dynamic changes in the global energy landscape. Additionally, members endorsed the Forum’s participation in the Hydrocarbons for Development (H4D) initiative.

Throughout the meeting, the esteemed Executive Board members reaffirmed the significance of the Forum and emphasized the importance of strengthened collaboration. They highlighted EMGF’s pivotal role in advancing regional integration and supporting the sustainable development of natural gas resources across the East Mediterranean.
